When I returned from my trip to Kemet (Egypt) last year I was shocked that I saw very few Black tourist learning about OUR-STORY. Of the thousands of people in Kemet on the tours, we only saw "FOUR" that's right "FOUR" other black people. Now they weren't learning the truth, but they did see the greatness of what Black people did in the Motherland.
If you haven't been to AfRAka...when are you going? I'm putting it out there right now, I'm trying to get 25-50 Black people interested in learning OUR-STORY to join me on the KEMET NU – Kemet(Egypt)/ Cairo to Nubia 15 day tour on July 10-24,2011.
Why Kemet NU tour and not the tour I went on? It's simple, if you want the truth taught by an AfRAkan Griot Historian you want to go on Brother Ashra Kwesi's tour. If you want distorted, imprecise, twisted information to leave you confused and lost, then you'd go on the "Lookie Lou" tour I went on earlier this year lead by several Arab supposed Egyptologist.
I'm not being biased at all…if I had not been educating myself about AfRAka before going, I would have been lost and confused. When I questioned the lies being told to our group, the tour guide said, "Yes, I was correct with my facts", but then said, "But, this is what we teach on the tour." They know the truth but don't teach it to the millions that visit every year. Why? Because the truth will set "US" free and they can't have that.

Ashra Kwesi is a historian (Griot) and lecturer on ancient African history and religion. He will take you and show you firsthand information from the ancient temples, tombs and papyrus papers recorded when African people were teachers of the world. Brother Kwesi brings a wealth of information and a powerful delivery, based on 29 years of study and tour experience in the African Nile Valley. He spent 14 of those years as an assistant to the noted Kemetologist, Dr. Yosef Ben Jochannan.
Brother Kwesi has performed extensive historical research on location at the Nile Valley University, the temples and tombs of Egypt, as well as studied in Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya and Ghana. Additionally, he has documented information on African Nile Valley history at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, the British Museum in London, England and the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Most recently he presented his findings on ancient Kush at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia, the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie.
