In Case You 4-Got or Only Know His - Story
Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) All,
I was listening to NPR a few years back and they were discussing the topic of how the legislature in Tucson, AZ struck down the school system from teaching Mexican-American history in the schools. It was considered discriminatory to teach such subjects and those schools who continued teaching the subject would be subject to losing 10% of their state annual funding.
Now ... let me get this straight. Even though the majority of students in the Tucson school district are of Mexican/American descent, and Tucson ... better yet all of Arizona use to be Mexico before it was stolen from them, it's considered to be discrimination to teach Mexican/American history?
Let's wake up folks...this is their way (let you figure out who "their" is) of keeping the lid closed on the bottle. As long as you stay ignorant to Our-Story and continue to dream and live in their lullaby world of lies, deceit, destruction and "RELIGION." You'll continue to be ignorant to the truth and waste your time giving them your hard earned money on their fictitious "Holy-days" making them richer and as Malcolm said, " ... while the community you live or come from continues to get poorer and poorer every day..."
So, you can bet your last dime ... I "AIN'T" celebrating "NO" FREAKING 4th of Ju-"Lie" today or ever again. Ignorance is when you don't know, but when you do know and keep doing the same thing ... it's plain old "Stupidity."

Frederick Douglas 4th of July Message
Fellow citizens; above your national, tumultuous joy, I hear the mournful wail of millions! - whose chains, heavy and grievous yesterday, are today rendered more intolerable by the jubilee shouts
that reach them...
Whether we turn to the declarations of the past, or to the professions of the present, the conduct of the nation seems equally hideous and revolting. America is false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly bids herself to be false to the future....
What to the American slave is your 4th of July? I answer: a day that reveals to him, more than all other days in the year, the gross injustice and cruelty to which he is the constant victim.
To him, your celebration is a sham; your boasted liberty, an unholy license; your national greatness, swelling vanity; your sounds of rejoicing are empty and heartless; your denunciations of tyrants, brass fronted impudence; your shouts of liberty and equality, hollow mockery; your prayers and hymns, your sermons and thanksgivings, with all your religious parade and solemnity, are, to him, mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, hypocrisy - a thin veil to cover up crimes which would disgrace a nation of savages.
There is not a nation on the earth guilty of practices more shocking and bloody than are the people of these United States, at this very hour"....
Frederick Douglass
On July 5, 1852, Douglass gave a speech at an event commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence, held at Rochester's Corinthian Hall. It was biting oratory, in which the speaker told his audience, "This Fourth of July is yours, not mine. You may rejoice, I must mourn." And he asked them, "Do you mean, citizens, to mock me, by asking me to speak to-day?"
